St. Emillian Eregi Special School for Hearing Impaired is a boarding Comprehensive. hearing impaired public day. The school is found in Kakamega County, Kakamega South Sub-County and in the Kolomani South zone. Our learners come from all over the Western region. We admit both boys and girls of hearing impairment. The age from age 4 years and above. The School was started in the year 2009 with a unit under St. Columban Eregi Primary School by then. It then grew up and became a fully-fledged school of it's own in the year 2010. It started with 3 Learners in the year 2009, then 15 learners. By the end of 2010, It swelled very fast and by now the Learners are 108. St. Emillian Eregi special Comprehensive school is sponsored by Roman Catholic Church. The school is run by a dedicated team of 14 teachers, of which 4 are male and 10 females, 5 Support staff and 17 Board of Management members.
